After the many years of support from the Brown County community, the Brownwood Kiwanis Club invites the public to attend the second Appreciation Chili Lunch from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Friday, April 1st at the Adams Street Community Center.
“It’s a chance for us to thank the community for their support with our Pancake Supper,” Dennis Graham said. “With their help, we are able to support several youth organizations here the Brownwood area”
The free lunch will include chili (with no beans), beans and all the fixings including cheese, onions, crackers, peppers and more. Members of the Brownwood High School Key Club will host a bake sale during the lunch for residents who would like dessert.During the Chili Lunch, members of the Brownwood Kiwanis Club will be competing against each other in the Chili Challenge to see who makes the best chili. The winner will receive the coveted Chili Challenge Trophy.
