The Brownwood Lions JV football team beat the Sweetwater Mustangs JV team 26-6 Thursday night in their final home game of the season.
Matt McCrane led the Brownwood offense with 3 touchdown passes 2 of which went to Garrett Wells, who had touchdown receptions of 75 yards and 10 yards.
Marshall King caught a 20 yard touchdown pass to get the momentum rolling for the Lions.
The defense was tough all night long, and the last touchdown of the game came when Chris Cotton stripped a Sweetwater receiver and ran the fumble back 25 yards for the score.
The JV finishes the season on the road at Snyder next Thursday.
