Brownwood Junior Varsity head coach Ty Lang submitted the following report on last Thursday’s game against Waco LaVega’s JV team.
The JV Lions fell to La Vega 30-16. The boys played hard and were led on offense by Matt McCrane’s 2 TD’s (1 passing, 1 rushing). Marshall Whitt scored his first touchdown of the season.
The offensive line opened up big holes for most of the night. The defense was led by Garret Kemp and Sam Humeniuk.
The Lions host Stephenville on Thursday. Game is scheduled for 7:00, with Freshmen A and B teams playing the Yellowjackets, starting at 4:00.
