On Thursday, November 12th, police notified Brownwood High School Principal Mitch Moore that an investigation was under way regarding messages posted to Facebook which made threats to do harm at the high school.
The investigation is ongoing, and Brownwood ISD will continue to cooperate with police as they follow-up, process and release any information. “Nothing is more important than the safety of our students and staff at Brownwood ISD,” said Acting Superintendent, Liesa Land. “As a district we take this seriously. The police and our staff responded quickly to make sure there was no actual danger to anyone at the school.”
