BISD Press Release – Brownwood ISD was saddened to receive the news this afternoon that BISD Dyslexia teacher, Wayne Goforth, passed away after a bout of recent health issues.
“Mr. Goforth was a passionate teacher,” said Brownwood ISD Superintendent, Dr. Joe Young. “His special skills, patience, and enthusiasm while working with our students with dyslexia will be missed. Every time I would run into him on a campus, he had a kind word to say and an optimism that was contagious. It’s a sad day for BISD and our thoughts and prayers are with Mr. Goforth’s family and friends.
