With the upcoming fall semester of school approaching in the next few weeks, Brownwood ISD announced registration dates as well as end and start times for all BISD campuses. The first day of school is scheduled for August 26th.
Student registration will start next week with the following dates and times:
Brownwood High School
Pick-Up Class Schedules
Seniors: August 14th – 8:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
Juniors: August 15th – 8:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
Sophomores: August 16th – 8:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
August 14th-16th from 1:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Freshmen and new students pick up class schedules
New students will need parent or legal guardian present with them at registration. Parent or guardian must bring proof of residency and their driver’s license. New students must bring a copy of their birth certificate, social security card, immunization records and a copy of their transcript or last report card.

Brownwood Accelerated High School
Registration: August 14th – 16th

Middle School
Note: Students who were enrolled at Brownwood Intermediate School as 6th graders or were enrolled as 7th graders at Brownwood Middle School during the 2012-2013 school year have already been pre-registered.
New student registration: Wednesday, August 24th, 8:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. (only for students who were NOT enrolled at BISD last year.)
Thursday, August 22nd – Students pick up schedules in the cafeteria and athletes are issued equipment in locker rooms as follows:
8th grade: 1:00 p.m. – 2:15 p.m.
7th grade: 2:15 p.m. – 3:30 p.m.
Office Worker Orientation: 3:30 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Meet the Teacher: Tuesday, September 3rd from 5:00 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.
Laptop Policy Meeting: Parents of all 7th graders and new 8th graders will meet at 6:00 p.m. in the Lehrer Gym to review policies and questions about laptops.
Note: On the first day of school, August 26th, students meet in the Lehrer Gym after the 8:09 a.m. bell to receive directions and instructions regarding their schedules.

5th & 6th Grade Registration (New Students Only): August 12th – 15th from 8:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. daily.
