Brownwood Independent School District will accept transfer requests during the month of April for the 2015-2016 school year.
Out-of-district transfer requests will be accepted for all students in grades kindergarten thru grade twelve.
In-district transfer requests will be accepted for current, in-district transfer students only and their siblings. BISD does not approve transfer requests for PK students.
All transfer requests for current year students must be submitted by the April 30. Notification of approval or denial will be mailed to applicants by August 1.Transfer request forms are available at campus offices or at the Central Administration Office located at 2707 Southside Drive between 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., or on the BISD website at: www.brownwoodisd.org/transfers.
