Brownwood News – Congratulations to the November 2019 Brownwood ISD Spotlight teacher, Ms. Kaitlin Leslie. Ms. Leslie is a second grade teacher at East Elementary. She earned a degree in Early Childhood Education from Howard Payne University in 2013, and is certified to teach early childhood-6th grade. This is Ms. Leslie’s sixth year with Brownwood ISD.

Ms. Leslie is known to go above and beyond in her work with students teaching second grade math. She is a member of the department leader team and continually comes in early and stays late to prepare for her students.
Brownwood ISD is grateful to have dedicated teachers like Ms. Leslie who devote their time to equipping our students with the tools and knowledge they need to succeed.

 

KERRI JACOBSON

Ms. Kerri Jacobson is the November 2019 Spotlight staff member. Ms. Jacobson is the Counselor at Coggin Intermediate School. This is her first year at Brownwood ISD. Ms. Jacobson earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from Texas A&M University in 1988. She is a Certified School Counselor and is also certified to teach (Pre-K – 6th). Ms. Jacobson completed her Master of Education in Guidance and Counseling in August of 2016 from Angelo State University.


Ms. Jacobson goes above and beyond on her campus by helping to establish expectations of behavior and respect while also working consistently to support classroom teachers in any way she can. She maintains a positive attitude and completes her work with a smile.
Brownwood ISD is thankful to have amazing counselors like Ms. Jacobson, who are there for students and help to make our campus environments positive and healthy.
