Brownwood ISD principals and officials were presented with Gold Performance Awards Monday night at the BISD school board meeting. These awards are given for “above and beyond performances” for each school and are issued by the TEA for performance.
Awards included:
Woodland Heights Elementary – Commended performance in reading and language arts as well as commended performance in mathematics – Principal Jenny Roberts accepting.
Northwest – Commended performance in reading and language arts and mathematics – Principal Stacy Smith accepting.
East – Commended performance in reading and language arts – Principal Nanda Wilbourn accepting.
Intermediate – Commended performance in mathematics, science, and comparable improvement in mathematics – Principal Chuck Chesser accepting
BHS – Commended performance in social studies and college readiness – Principal Bill Faircloth accepting.
Alternative HS – in commended performance in social studies – David McCullough accepting.
BISD – Commended performance in social studies and college readiness – Deputy Superintendent Kevin Gabaree accepting.
