bisdlogo4Preschool registration for 2016-17 will be held at BISD Central Office at 2707 Southside from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 21, and Tuesday, June 28. All children who will be 4 and under on or before September 1, 2016, are encouraged to apply for Head Start and Early Head Start.

Children who are 4 years old on or before September 1, 2016, but did not qualify for Head Start and were placed on a list for Pre-K must complete the registration process in order to be considered enrolled in Pre-K.  These qualifying students are guaranteed a place in the Pre-K program. Parents of 4-year-olds who did not sign up in April are encouraged to register as soon as possible.

Items needed for Pre-registration are the child’s birth certificate, Social Security card, updated shot record, proof of address, and proof of income, which could include the previous month’s pay stubs, 2015 tax return, or letters of eligibility for government assistance.
