In an effort to bring awareness to childhood cancer, Brownwood Intermediate students recently participated in the Gold Rush Challenge. The students donated $680.80 to Hope from the Heart Brown County, an organization dedicated to helping local families with children who are fighting cancer.
As a reward for their efforts, students enjoyed pajama day on Friday, September 20th. Faculty and Staff members also participated in the Gold Rush Challenge by purchasing Gold Rush t-shirts which are being worn every Friday in September. T-shirt sales for Brownwood Intermediate totaled $567, bringing the overall total raised to $1247.80.
