Brownwood High School HOSA (Health Occupations Students of America) will be hosting the 2015 Area 5 Fall Leadership Conference, Saturday October 24th at Brownwood High School.
A variety of break-out sessions are planned during the event including some coordinated in conjunction with Howard Payne University. HPU School of Education students, under the direction of instructor Lauren Kirk, will be conducting a break-out session on personality types, and Exercise & Sport Science students are planning a session on Brain Busters and Exercise under the guidance of instructor Kim Rosato.
Kurt Kammerer, Athletic Trainer at Brownwood High School, is also doing a break out session on Sports Medicine Wrapping.“We are expecting close to 400 students from the area,” said BHS Health Science teacher, Ann Tew. “Students from Abilene all the way to Waco and Ft. Worth will travel to Brownwood to attend the conference.”
