The Brownwood High Theatre Department is in full swing as they are in rehearsals for their fall production of “Peter Pan.”
“Rehearsals are going exceptionally well,” said BHS Theatre Director, Larry Mathis. “The kids have really responded to the daunting task of putting together such a complicated show with so many technical attractions and mastering the characters from this timeless story of the boy who would never grow up.”
With a cast and crew of over 50, the production will showcase many beloved characters, a festival of colorful lights, a menagerie of sound, special video animations, creative sets, and, of course, flying.
The show will open to the public October 29th, and will run for six performances. According to Mathis there is an expectation of large, possibly full-capacity crowds each night and, as a result, advance tickets will go on sale beginning October 1st at Brownwood High School.
Additional details will follow in the coming weeks regarding ticket prices and special promotions.
