Brownwood High School Homecoming Queen nominees for 2010 are Alicia Castillo, Jordan Cavitt, Caitlyn Cloy, Becky Fowler and Taylor Combs.  The queen will be announced during halftime of the Brownwood vs. China Spring football game on Friday night.

Caitlyn Cloy is the daughter of Michael and Dana Cloy.  Her pep rally escort will be Payton Christopher.  Caitlyn is Vice President of the National Honor Society, Co-captain of the Varsity Cheerleading squad, a member of Choices, Coggin Avenue Baptist Church Youth Group, and a student in the Health Science Technology program.  She was voted the Most Intelligent her sophomore year and has been Magna Cum Laude for four years.  Caitlyn plans on obtaining her bachelors degree in Health Science and continuing on to medical school.

Alicia Castillo is the daughter of Murice Castillo and Renee Jones and Richard DeAnda.  She will be escorted at the pep rally by Alex Elizondo.  She has been on the Varsity Volleyball team for two years and is involved in FCA and DECCA.  Alicia was awarded Honorable Mention for volleyball in District 2-3A in 2009.  In addition to her school and athletic activities, she works at the Runaway Train.  Alicia plans on attending Abilene Christian University, where she will play volleyball and study Business and Management.

Jordan Cavitt is the daughter of Ricky and Teresa Cavitt.  Her pep rally escort will be Cade Johnson.  Jordan is a member of Choices, BHS play productions and the Coggin Avenue Baptist Church Youth Group.  She is the Captain of the Varsity Cheerleaders, and was voted Class Favorite of the junior class last year.  Jordan plans to attend Texas Christian University to earn a masters degree in Aerobic Fitness and Sports Science..

Becky Fowler is the daughter of Bill and Diane Fowler.  She will be escorted by Luke Chastain at the pep rally.  Becky is a member of the Lion Crew, National Honor Society, FFA and the Coggin Avenue Baptist Church Youth Group.  She was a 2009 Hoby representative, has been awarded Top Greenhand and has earned a Chapter Degree for FFA.  She is also an honor roll student.  Becky plans on attending Baylor University with a double major in Creative Design and Marketing.

Taylor Combs is the daughter of Jeff and Kim Combs.  Her pep rally escort will be Michael Ballejo.  Taylor is the President of the National Honor Society, a member of the Lion Crew, Choices, the Varsity Soccer team and Southside Baptist Church Youth Group.  She has been awarded Academic All-district in soccer for three years, and has been in the Top 10% of her class for four years.  Taylor plans to attend college and major in Psychology and minor in Cross-cultural Studies.
