Graduation2014

Brownwood High School honored the class of 2014 during commencement Friday night at the Brownwood Coliseum.

There were 194 graduating seniors who walked the stage and BHS Principal Bill Faircloth said it was a privilege teaching the students of the class of 2014.

“This is beyond a doubt the best group that I have ever had as a principal,” he said.

The top graduates from Brownwood High School this year are Valedictorian Victoria Hood and Salutatorian Shelby McKillip.  Each addressed their fellow graduates and those in attendance.

Special recognitions were given to students completing dual credit courses during their high school careers, and those graduates entering military service were honored with recognition and a standing ovation.

Brownwood ISD school board president Michael Cloy also presented a special recognition to outgoing Brownwood High School principal Bill Faircloth for serving in the position for 10 years.
