Brownwood News – The Lady Lions had their season opener yesterday at the Birdville Early Bird Invitational. The girls came ready to run. As a team, the girls came in 4th out of 29 teams.
They came in behind an elite private school and two competitive 6A schools. Out of 206 runners, Kyra Young came in 16th, earning her a medal. All of the Brownwood Lady Lions were in the top 100.
