On Tuesday, September 22nd, members of the BHS Jazz Band traveled to Stephenville High School to try-out for the ATSSB (Association of Texas Small School Bands) Region 7 Jazz Band.
The students played 3 different styles of music including; Swing, Latin, and Jazz.
The following BHS students won a place in the ATSSB All Region Jazz Band:
- James Davis – Jazz Piano
- Sawyer Dodds – Drum Set Alternative
“This is the second year in a row that James Davis has won a spot in the Region 7 Jazz Band,” noted BHS Band Director, David Lambert. “Congratulations to these students.”
