Brownwood News – The following incident reports were submitted by the Brownwood Fire Department detailing service calls handled from January 29th to February 4th.
January 29th
- 7:11 AM – EMS Call high blood pressure
- 10:26 AM – EMS Call chest pain
- 1:52 PM – EMS Call difficulty breathing
- 5:45 PM – Motor Vehicle Accident 11th/Coggin – Dispatched to a single vehicle accident. Arrived on scene to find vehicle sitting on side of roadway with driver out of the vehicle, with no injuries.
- 8:42 PM – EMS Call difficulty breathing
January 30th
- 12:17 PM – EMS Call heart problems
- 2:24 PM – Fire Call 7000 block of Killarney Drive – responded to a structure fire with Bangs, Lake Dam, and Early VFDs. Structure fire was extinguished but several exposures were damaged by fire.
January 31st
- 8:44 AM – Dispatched and cancelled
- 5:36 PM – Fire Call Durango Court – responded for someone burning in the backyard. Arrived on scene to find a man burning leaves, sticks, and other trash. He was informed of city burn ordinance. Fire Marshal arrived on scene and issued a citation.

- 8:02 PM – EMS Call fall
February 1st
- 6:54 AM – EMS Call fall
- 7:37 AM – EMS Call fall
- 11:05 AM – EMS Call possible stroke
- 12:11 PM – EMS Call assist invalid
- 2:59 PM – Dispatched and cancelled
- 6:46 PM – Fire Call Edwards / Hendricks arrived on scene to find owner cooking in an approved container.
February 2nd
- 2:17 AM – EMS Call fall
- 1:12 PM – Motor Vehicle Accident – CR 267 – dispatched for a vehicle rollover. Arrived on scene with EMS to find occupants on the ground and no vehicle in sight.
- 10:15 PM – EMS Call fall
February 3rd
- 4:08 AM – Dispatched and cancelled
- 6:52 AM – EMS Call passed out
- 1:54 PM – EMS Call chest pain
- 5:36 PM – Motor Vehicle Accident – Early Boulevard – arrived on scene with EMS to a vehicle vs pedestrian accident. Firefighters performed patient care and assisted with loading in Air Evac.
- 9:16 PM – Fire Call 1600 block of Parkway Drive – cancelled en route
- 9:17 PM – Fire Call – East Commerce – dispatched for smoke detector activation. Arrived on scene and was notified by hotel clerk that someone had been smoking in the room and there was no fire. Firefighters went to investigate the room, no one was in the room at this time.
February 4th
- 1:21 PM – EMS Call dislocated hip
- 8:31 PM – Fire Call S 377 – arrived on scene of what appeared to be a small grass fire started by a sparkler, fire was out before arrival.
