Monday, May 30

*4:21 AM – Brownwood Fire Department responded to a motor vehicle accident in the 2900 block of Morris Sheppard.  The accident involved a pickup striking a deer.  Firefighters arrived on scene with PD and found there were no injuries.

Tuesday, May 31

*1:50 PM – Brownwood Fire Department was dispatched to a two-vehicle accident with injuries in the 2000 block of Austin Avenue.  The accident involved a pickup colliding with a trash truck.

*3:18 PM – Brownwood Fire Department responded to a two-vehicle accident on E. Commerce Street.   Upon arrival, both vehicles were in the roadway with no visible damage. EMS transported one occupant.

Wednesday, June 1

*10:51 AM – Brownwood Fire Department was called to a minor motor vehicle accident with no injuries in the 4100 block of South Hwy 377.

*1:11 PM – Brownwood Fire Department responded to a two-vehicle accident in the 500 block of E. Commerce, on the Pecan Bayou Bridge. Minor damage to the vehicles was observed and one patient was transported.

*11:24 PM – Brownwood Fire Department was dispatched to a single vehicle accident in the 1400 block of Brady Avenue.  Firefighters arrived on scene to find a vehicle that ran over the curb and into a yard.

Thursday, June 2

*12:57 PM – Brownwood Fire Department responded to a two-vehicle accident in the 700 block of W. Commerce.  Firefighters assisted EMS with patient care and in loading the patient for transport.

*4:21 PM – Brownwood Fire Department was called to a motor vehicle accident with no injuries in the area of Southgate & Austin Avenue.  Firefighters arrived on scene to find a single vehicle had struck a tree.

Friday, June 3

*8:05 PM – Brownwood Fire Department was dispatched to a fire call in the 300 block of Center Avenue.  Fire crews were dispatched for an unknown type of fire and smoke coming from apartment.  Nothing was showing upon firefighters’ arrival; however, when they entered the 5th floor, there was heavy smoke.  The fire was out and was confined to a stove top.  Ventilation was used to remove smoke from apartment and the thermal camera was used to check for any extension.  All was found to be clear.

Saturday, June 4

*4:21 PM – Brownwood Fire Department responded to a two-vehicle accident with possible entrapment in the area of Walnut & Temple.  Firefighters arrived on scene to find the roadway blocked.  Rescue tools were used to make entry inside the vehicle to free the trapped occupant. One occupant was transported by EMS.
