Monday, June 20

*2:47 PM – Brownwood Fire Department responded to a single vehicle rollover accident with ejection near the intersection of Hwy 377 South and County Road 233.  Firefighters arrived on scene and assisted Lifeguard EMS with one ejected passenger and set up landing zone for Air Evac.   Both occupants were transported, one by ambulance and one by helicopter.

Tuesday, June 21

*12:36 AM – Brownwood Fire Department was dispatched to a fire call in the 1000 block of Brinn Street. Fire crews arrived on scene to find an unapproved rubbish/trash fire smoldering.  Firefighters advised the property owner that he cannot burn after dark and the fire must be completely extinguished.

*7:34 AM – Brownwood Fire Department responded to a two-vehicle accident with no injuries at Vine and Washington Streets.

*3:06 PM – Brownwood Fire Department was dispatched to a fire call in the 1000 block of Avenue B a report of mulch smoldering on a playground.  Firefighters arrived on scene to find several spots smoldering underneath the top layer of mulch.  Firefighters wet the area down.

*11:58 PM – Brownwood Fire Department responded to a single vehicle accident in the 800 block of Avenue B.  Fire crews arrived to find a single vehicle had struck a tree.  Firefighters performed first aid and assisted with loading the patient for transport.

Wednesday, June 22

*2:17 PM – Brownwood Fire Department responded to an ATV accident in the 1000 block of Sharp Street. Firefighters arrived on scene of an accident with injuries involving two 4-wheelers.  Fire crews assisted with loading patient for transport.

Thursday, June 23

*3:09 PM – Brownwood Fire Department responded to a two-vehicle accident with minor injuries at the intersection of Austin Avenue and Parkway.

*9:15 PM – Brownwood Fire Department were dispatched to a fire call in the 800 block of Coggin Avenue.  Firefighters responded to a line down on roadway, which was determined to be an old cable line.  The hazard was removed.

Friday, June 24

*2:02 PM – Brownwood Fire Department was called to a lock-in in the 1500 block of Belle Plain Avenue.  Firefighters arrived on scene to find two children locked in car.  The car was unlocked without damage.

Saturday, June 25

*2:02 PM – Brownwood Fire Department responded to a 3-vehicle accident in the 1300 block of West Austin Avenue. All occupants were cleared by EMS.

*5:28 PM – Brownwood Fire Department was dispatched to a fire call in the 3400 block of 2nd Street regarding smoke coming from a house in the neighborhood.  Fire crews arrived on scene and determined the “smoke” was a water sprinkler in the front yard.
