Monday, May 11
*1:25 PM – BFD responded to a fire call in the 100 block of Greenleaf Street. Fire crews determined the steam from a dishwasher had caused an alarm activation, which was determined to be a false alarm.
Tuesday, May 12
*1:32 PM – BFD was dispatched to a fire call on Brady Avenue. Firefighters arrived on scene to find nothing showing. After an investigation, steam was found to be coming from the roof.
Wednesday, May 13
*7:45 AM – BFD responded to a two-vehicle accident with injuries at the intersection of FM 2525 and CC Woodson Road. Fire crews extricated an occupant and assisted EMS for transport.
*3:08 PM – BFD responded to a motor vehicle accident in the 1500 block of Main. Firefighters provided first aid and checked for injuries.*7:57 PM – BFD was called to a fire in the 1600 block of Calvert Drive. Fire crews arrived on scene to find a smoke detector malfunction with no fire.
Thursday, May 14
*12:13 AM – BFD was dispatched to a fire call in the 2800 block of Southside Drive. Firefighters arrived on scene to find smoke detector malfunction, there was no fire.
*1:57 AM – BFD was called to a fire in the 2200 block of Vine Street. Fire crews arrived on scene to investigate possible power lines down and Oncor was notified.
*7:55 PM – BFD responded to a motor vehicle accident at the intersection of Brady Avenue and 9th Street, involving a single vehicle striking a power pole. There were no injuries. Oncor was notified.
Friday, May 15
*10:54 PM – BFD was dispatched to a fire call in the 1600 block of Indian Creek. Firefighters arrived on scene to find all occupants standing outside. Fire Marshall was requested on scene. After investigation, it was determined an electrical adapter had melted and blew the breaker. Fire Crews checked for heat extension with nothing found.
