Tuesday, May 3

*7:38 AM – Brownwood Fire Department responded to a two-vehicle accident in the 2700 block of Southside Drive.  Firefighters arrived on scene to find all occupants out of the vehicles and that there were no injuries.

Wednesday, May 4

*7:20 PM – Brownwood Fire Department was dispatched to a fire call in the 2200 block of Main Blvd. The incident was determined to be a false alarm

Friday, May 6

*8:54 AM – Brownwood Fire Department was called to a fire in the 1500 block of Davis Lane, regarding an alarm which activated for smoke in the building.  Fire crews arrived on scene to find nothing showing.  The office manager and maintenance man stated they could smell something burning.  An extensive search was performed using the thermal camera and a dimmer plug was found to be hot.  Power was turned off to that room and firefighters advised the manager to contact an electrician.

*12:55 PM – Brownwood Fire Department was dispatched to a fire call in the 2800 block of Avenue D.  An alarm had activated for smoke coming from the home.  Fire crews arrived on the scene to find nothing showing.  Firefighters were informed that smoke testing was being done in that area.  Firefighters checked the residence and did not locate smoke or fire.

*5:03 PM – Brownwood Fire Department responded to a two-vehicle accident with no injuries in the area of Adams and Fisk Streets.

Saturday, May 7

*11:39 AM – Brownwood Fire Department was called to the 1500 block of Avenue D regarding arcing power lines.  Firefighters arrived on scene and found no arcing lines, however, Oncor arrived on scene to check the lines.

Sunday, May 8

*2:52  AM – Brownwood Fire Department  responded to a structure fire in the 1800 block of Avenue D.
