Monday, February 29

*6:42 PM – Brownwood Fire Department was dispatched to a fire call in the 1000 block of Lewis Drive.  Fire crews arrived on scene to find smoke coming from a burn barrel.  The homeowner was advised of the burn ban and the fire was extinguished.

*9:57 AM – Brownwood Fire Department responded to a two-vehicle accident at Main Street and Austin Avenue.  Firefighters assisted with patient care and loading the patient for transport.

Tuesday, March 1

*9:00 PM – Brownwood Fire Department responded to a motor vehicle accident on W. Highway 67.

Thursday, March 3

*9:03 AM – Brownwood Fire Department was dispatched to a fire call in the 1000 block of Avenue B.  Firefighters arrived on scene with police to find a resident using an approved BBQ pit.

*1:25 PM – Brownwood Fire Department was called to a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of 9th Street and Coggin Avenue with the road way blocked.  Fire crews helped package the patient for transport.

*2:20 PM – Brownwood Fire Department was called to a fire in the 2700 block of Greenway Drive regarding a rubbish fire close to structures.  Fire fighters arrived on scene to find that apartment maintenance personal had extinguished leaves that were burning.

*5:19 PM – Brownwood Fire Department responded to a two-vehicle accident with no injuries at the intersection of Austin Avenue and Main Street.

*5:54 PM – Brownwood Fire Department was dispatched to a two-vehicle accident at the 200 block of E. Commerce Street. Firefighters arrived on scene and assisted EMS with packaging of the occupant for transport.

Friday, March 4

*2:41 PM – Brownwood Fire Department was dispatched to a fire call on County Road 234 regarding smoke in the area.  Fire crews arrived on scene and could smell smoke but after investigating the area, nothing was found.

Saturday, March 5

*5:01 PM – Brownwood Fire Department responded to a two-vehicle accident with no injuries at the intersection of Main Street and Austin Avenue.

Sunday, March 6

*10:05 PM – Brownwood Fire Department responded to a motor vehicle accident in the 2200 Southside Drive.  Firefighters arrived on scene to find all occupants out of the vehicles and EMS tending to patients.
