Monday, March 14

*7:29 PM – Brownwood Fire Department was called to the 4200 block of 4th Street regarding a possible fire; however, nothing was found upon firefighters’ arrival.  The thermal camera was used to search for possible fire with nothing found.

Tuesday, March 15

*10:51 AM – Brownwood Fire Department was dispatched to a fire call at the intersection of Baker and Melwood Streets.  Firefighters arrived on scene to find a wire hanging down which was determined to be a phone line.

*1:53 PM – Brownwood Fire Department was called to the 2500 block of Crockett Drive regarding utility lines arcing.  Fire crews arrived on scene to find Oncor working on the issue.

*7:23 PM – Brownwood Fire Department responded to a motor vehicle accident with no injuries in the 3300 block of Stephen F. Austin.  Firefighters arrived to find a vehicle had struck a trailer house.

Wednesday, March 16

*9:18 AM – Brownwood Fire Department was dispatched to a fire call in the 1800 block of 3rd Street.  Fire crews were dispatched for electric lines down; however, the line was determined to be a phone line with no hazards.

Thursday, March 17

*11:34 AM – Brownwood Fire Department responded to a two-vehicle accident with no injuries in the 1100 block of Main Street.

*12:55 PM – Brownwood Fire Department responded to a two-vehicle accident with no injuries in the 3600 block of Hwy 377.

*1:30 PM – Brownwood Fire Department responded to a two-vehicle accident in the 100 E. Commerce.  Firefighters arrived on scene and provided first aid.

*5:53 PM – Brownwood Fire Department was dispatched to a fire call in the 1500 block of Davis Lane.  Firefighters arrived on scene to find that an exterior fire alarm had been pulled.  There was no fire found and the alarm was reset.  The incident was determined to be a malicious false call.

Friday, March 18

*1:07 PM – Brownwood Fire Department responded to a motor vehicle accident with no injuries in the 200 block of W. Commerce.  Fire crews arrived on scene to find all vehicles had been moved into a parking lot.

*8:06 AM – Brownwood Fire Department was called to a fire in the 10000 block of County Road 225 arrived on scene of a controlled burn.  Residents were informed to notify fire dispatch before burning.

*4:30 PM – Brownwood Fire Department was called to the 3700 block of 1st Street regarding a fire alarm activation.  Firefighter arrived to find an alarm was activated while cooking and there was no fire.

*7:01 PM – Brownwood Fire Department were dispatched to a fire call in the 2100 block of 12th Street. Resident requested a search for fire extension from an extinguished fire and the thermal camera was used to search the residence; however, nothing was found.

Saturday, March 19

*4:18 AM – Brownwood Fire Department responded to a single vehicle accident with no injuries in the 1400 block of Phillips.  Firefighters arrived on scene as police were initiating a sobriety test.

*11:52 AM – Brownwood Fire Department responded to a single vehicle accident with no injuries in the 500 block of W. Commerce.
