Monday, January 26
*12:43 PM – BFD was called to a fire in the 300 block of Milan Drive. Firefighters arrived on scene to find the fire out upon arrival.
*6:35 PM – BFD was dispatched to a fire call in the 2300 block of Carriage Lane regarding a smoke scare and the odor of smoke. Firefighters found nothing upon arrival.
Tuesday, January 27
*6:16 PM – BFD was called to a fire in the 1000 block of Santa Clara. Fire Crews arrived on scene to find leaves burning in a barrel. The fire was extinguished.
*11:43 PM – BFD was dispatched to a fire call in the 2500 block of Songbird Circle. Firefighters arrived on scene and were advised the fire was in the rear of building. Firefighters entered the building to find the sprinkler system had activated and the fire was out. EMS on scene assisted with evacuation of patients. A ventilation fan was set up and firefighters started clean up.Thursday, January 29
*3:10 PM – BFD was called to a fire in the 100 block of Market Place. Firefighters arrived on scene and found someone had burned some cookies. There was no damage. Smoke removal was performed.
Friday, January 30
*12:35 PM – BFD was dispatched to a hazardous materials call in the 100 block of Ivanhoe. Firefighters arrived on scene to find a gas meter in the alley had been struck. The gas valve was turned off and Atmos was notified.
Saturday, January 31
*8:49 PM – BFD was called to a fire in the 1500 block of 7th Street. Fire crews arrived on scene to find nothing showing. After an investigation, a shorted electrical outlet was found where a space heater had been plugged in.
