Monday, February 2
*2:28 AM – BFD was called to the 1900 block of Main Blvd. for public service to provide manpower.
*2:02 PM – BFD responded to a two-vehicle accident in the 1900 block of Indian Creek. Fire personnel assisted police department with traffic control.
Tuesday, February 3
*4:02 PM – BFD was dispatched to a fire call in the 2100 block of Slayden Street. The incident was determined to be a false alarm.
*5:50 PM – BFD was called to a fire in the 2700 block of Stephen F. Austin. The incident was determined to be a fire smoldering in a dumpster.Wednesday, February 4
*5:23 AM – BFD was dispatched to a fire in the 2300 block of 13th Street. Firefighters arrived on scene to find an alarm sounding in the home, which was determined to be an alarm clock.
*9:37 AM – BFD responded to the area of Austin / Main regarding a 2-vehicle accident with no injuries.
*4:22 PM – BFD was dispatched to a hazardous materials call in the 100 block of Broadmoor. The investigation determined the call to be a carbon monoxide incident.
*6:23 PM – BFD was called to a fire in the 2700 block of Hunters Run. Firefighters arrived on scene to find a smoke alarm sounding due to some overcooked bread.
Friday, February 6
*4:43 PM – BFD responded to a fire call in the 3500 block of Rhodes Road. Fire crews arrived on scene to find apartment filled with smoke but no fire. The residence was cleared of smoke.
Saturday, February 7
*12:37 PM – BFD was dispatched to a fire call in the 1200 block of Melwood. Firefighters arrived on scene to find a power line had been cut when someone was cutting down a tree. Oncor was notified.
*9:28 PM – BFD responded to a motor vehicle accident at Congress and Adams Streets involving a single motorcycle. The driver had struck the back of a pickup. One patient was loaded with EMS.
Sunday, February 8
*9:31 AM – BFD was called to a fire in the 1900 block of Avenue E. Fire crews were dispatched to investigate smoke coming from the residence. Firefighters arrived on scene to find nothing showing. After an investigation, it was determined that pollen from a tree was blowing across the house.
