Monday, October 27
*6:33 PM – BFD responded to a two-vehicle accident in the 200 block of South US Highway 377. Firefighters arrived on scene to find a driver still inside one of the vehicles. Firefighters assisted EMS with packaging and loading the patient for transport.
Thursday, October 30
*3:40 PM – BFD responded to a two-vehicle accident in the 800 block of Commerce. Firefighters assisted EMS with packaging and loading of patient.
Friday, October 31
*12:30 AM – BFD was dispatched to a one vehicle accident in the 400 block of Commerce. Fire crews arrived on scene to find a vehicle crashed and partially inside the lobby of the motel. EMS transported one patient and police took one of the vehicle’s occupants into custody.*11:54 AM – BFD was called to a fire in the 500 block of Commerce regarding a vehicle fire. Firefighters arrived to find a suburban with an overheated wheel bearing.
*8:24 PM – BFD was dispatched to Indian Creek along with police who were responding to a vehicle which had struck a deer and was leaking fluids on the roadway. Firefighters cleaned up the spilled fluids.
Saturday, November 1
*4:24 PM – BFD responded to a hazardous materials call in the 2500 block of Stephen F Austin regarding the smell of gas. Firefighters investigated the area and found no hazardous materials.
Sunday, November 2
*10:46 AM – BFD was called to 1st Street regarding a two-vehicle accident with no injuries. Firefighters arrived to find all occupants out of the vehicles.
*2:33 PM – BFD was dispatched regarding disorderly conduct in the 800 block of Main Street. Firefighters provided manpower for a violent person.
