Monday, November 16

*4:15 PM – Brownwood Fire Department responded to a two-vehicle accident with no injuries in the 2000 block of US Hwy 377.

Tuesday, November 17

*1:57 AM – Brownwood Fire Department was dispatched to the report of a power line down in the area of Avenue I & Vincent Street.  Firefighters arrived in the area reported but nothing was found.

*1:58 AM – Brownwood Fire Department was called to the 2800 block of Southside Drive regarding a power line arcing.  Oncor was notified.

*1:06 PM – Brownwood Fire Department responded to a report of an entrapment in the 1600 block of Oakland Terrace.  Firefighters arrived on scene to find a male subject trapped under his vehicle.  Fire crews began to stabilize the vehicle and began lifting the vehicle off of the occupant. A landing zone for AirEvac was established to transfer the patient.

*1:49 PM – Brownwood Fire Department was dispatched to the 1800 block of 9th Street regarding an arcing power line.  Oncor was notified.

2:31 PM – Brownwood Fire Department responded to a motor vehicle accident with no injuries at Austin and Coggin Avenues.

5:56 PM – Brownwood Fire Department was dispatched to a fire call in the 2000 block of 4th Street. Firefighters arrived on scene to find a male in the front yard burning a small ant pile, the fire was out upon arrival.  Fire crews advised the resident of the city ordinance of no burning in the city limits.

Wednesday, November 18

*9:58 AM – Brownwood Fire Department responded to a motor vehicle accident in the area of Main Street and Adams Street.  Fire crews arrived on scene to find all subjects with no injuries and to be out of the vehicles.

Thursday, November 19

*2:47 PM – Brownwood Fire Department was called to a fire in the 1800 block of Avenue D.  Firefighters arrived on scene to find nothing showing.  Smoke was reported in the kitchen.  Firefighters cut a hole in the ceiling to gain access to the fire which was then extinguished.  Salvage and overhaul was performed.

*4:21 PM – Brownwood Fire Department was dispatched to a system malfunction at 1 Center Avenue.  Fire crews arrived on scene to find the alarm company working on fire alarm system.

*4:25 PM – Brownwood Fire Department was dispatched to the 2500 block of 1st Street.  Fire crews arrived on scene to find a transformer in the alley which had blown.  The power company was notified.

Friday, November 20

*11:39 AM – Brownwood Fire Department responded to a motor vehicle accident at the intersection of 9th Street & Coggin Avenue.  Firefighters arrived on scene to find EMS with the patients.  Fire crews provided manpower working the scene of the accident.

*2:56 PM – Brownwood Fire Department was called to a fire in the 2207 Avenue E.  Firefighters arrived on scene to find a cooking fire.  The fire was in a pot that was on the stove and firefighters removed the pot from the residence.  Ventilation fan was set up to remove smoke in the house.  A thermal camera was used to check for fire extension and nothing found.

*4:59 PM – Brownwood Fire Department responded to a 3-vehicle accident with no injuries in the 300 block of E. Commerce.

*10:41 PM – Brownwood Fire Department was dispatched to the 1100 block of Magnolia regarding an accident involving a vehicle striking a structure.  Fire crews arrived on scene to find a vehicle on the porch of the residence.  Fire fighters assisted in hazardous materials clean up and safety control.

Saturday, November 21

*4:40 AM – Brownwood Fire Department was dispatched to a good intent call in the 600 block of Corrigan Avenue where the motor on a refrigerator had burned up. Firefighters checked the breaker box and found nothing had ben tripped.

*11:22 AM – Brownwood Fire Department responded to a motorcycle accident at the intersection of Duke Street & Austin Avenue.  Firefighters assisted EMS with packaging and loading of the patient for transport to the hospital.

Sunday, November 22

*1:19 AM – Brownwood Fire Department was dispatched to a fire call at Poindexter Street & Elizabeth.  The incident was determined to be a false alarm.

*12:33 PM – Brownwood Fire Department was called to a two-vehicle accident at N. Main Street.  Firefighters arrived on scene to find both drivers out of the vehicles with no injuries.
