More than 50 classic vehicles were featured in the Brownwood Feels Like Home Celebration car show which was held in the Brownwood Coliseum during the three day event on September 18-20th.
Local car club the Heartland Cruisers puts the show together each year, all without charging admission fees to attendees or contestants.Several awards along with $100 cash prizes were presented to entries in the show including the coveted People’s Choice award which is selected by the show attendees each year. Winners were as follows:
Best of Show: Black 1957 Ford, Danny Wood of Rising Star (pictured at top)
Best Bike: 2004 Honda, Pat Evans of Tuscola

The Brownwood Feels Like Home Celebration is a community-wide festival held annually on the third weekend of September in Brownwood, Texas featuring a variety of competitions, attractions, music, and food as well as a concert which this year featured Josh Turner and Uncle Kracker. This year’s festival marked the 15th year of the event.
