The Brownwood Elite U12 softball team placed second at the Grassburr Classic in Goldthwaite which was held June 23th-25th.
Defeating Early SWAT on Thursday with a score of 8-6. Friday, the Brownwood Elite were beaten by Brownwood Thunder with a score of 7-2. Saturday’s victories included the following games: Early Whirlwinds 8-3, Goldthwaite Cyclones 3-2, Dublin Knockouts 6-3.
The championship game was Brownwood Elite over Brownwood Thunder 11-0, forcing a 2nd championship game since it was Thunder’s first loss. The Elite fell in the second championship game 10-3.
