Brownwood News – Brownwood Education Foundation has announced their 3rdAnnual Lions’ Pride Gala: Louisiana Saturday Night. Brownwood’s own Van Wilks and Josh Smith are booked to provide live music for the event which begins at 6:00 p.m. on October 20th at the Brownwood Regional Airport.  The evening will feature a dinner catered by Perini Ranch, an open bar, silent and live auctions, as well as a presentation honoring the Alumni of the Year, Bert V Massey II, and the 2018 Lion Legacy Award recipients, Mrs. Betty Martin and the late Dr. Don Martin.

The annual Lions’ Pride Gala serves as a primary fundraising effort for the Brownwood Education Foundation, a 501(C)3 organization tasked with funding innovative teaching grants within Brownwood ISD, as well as staff awards and appreciation efforts that continue to have a positive impact on the teachers and students within the district.
