Brownwood News – United States flags were at half-staff Friday as the country pays tribute on Police Officers Memorial Day, part of Police Week.

At the Depot Civic & Cultural Center in Brownwood, representatives of the Early and Brownwood Chambers of Commerce combined for their annual Law Enforcement Luncheon.  Normally held inside, this year it was outside due to COVID-19.  The luncheon began at 11:00 am and soon officers began driving through to receive their complimentary meal as a small token of appreciation for protecting our local communities.

Zak Webb performed music as numerous volunteers delivered the food to the law enforcement community.
