DQnewlooknightFor weeks we have all watched and waited as the local Dairy Queen on Austin Avenue underwent an amazing “face lift”.  First the iconic roof was torn off and the outer restructuring began.   A quick and modern remodel was successful as Dairy Queen opened its doors Wednesday at about 5:00pm.

Manager, Louise Woods wanted to let their customers know that although there is a new store, new look, and new faces, it’s the same old menu board and prices did not increase.

“You will still get the same friendly service with great prices”, Woods said.  “I am looking forward to seeing the ‘family’ back at the store!  I appreciate them waiting on us”.

Dairy Queen is now open at 7am and serves breakfast until 10 a.m.  Even though it is cold, a dipped cone, Blizzard or a peanut parfait sounds great!
