Brownwood News – The Brownwood City Council will meet at 9:00 am Tuesday, January 28, for a regular called meeting.  Among the business items for the Council is to consider the approval of the Audit Report for the year ended September 30, 2019.

Any citizen who desires to address the City Council on a matter not included on the agenda may do so at this time. The City Council may not deliberate on items presented under this agenda item. To comply with the provisions of the Open Meetings Act, the Council respectfully requests that prior to addressing Council that each person submit a citizen presentation form that is located at the entryway to the Council Chambers, stating your name, address, and topic of presentation. All presentations are subject to a five (5) minute time limit.

A. Discussion of a BMDD incentive package for a commercial business project and City participation in the project.
14. Action as a result of Executive Session
Council will reconvene into Regular Session in the Council Chambers to take any action deemed necessary as a result of the Executive Session including:
A. Council may approve the BMDD incentive package to a commercial business.
B. Council may authorize a Chapter 380 Agreement with a commercial business to provide a financial incentive.
