The City Council of the City of Brownwood, Texas, reserves the right to meet in closed, executive session on any of the items listed below should the need arise and if authorized by Title 5, Chapter 551, of the Texas Government Code.

The City Council may deliberate and/or act on the following items:

7.  Citizen Presentations
Any citizen who desires to address the City Council on a matter not included on the agenda may do so at this time. The City Council may not deliberate on items presented under this agenda item. To comply with the provisions of the Open Meetings Act, the Council respectfully requests that prior to addressing Council that each person submit a citizen presentation form that is located at the entryway to the Council Chambers, stating your name, address, and topic of presentation. All presentations are subject to a five (5) minute time limit.

10.  Public Hearing

A.  Council shall hold a public hearing on a proposal to increase total tax revenues from properties on the tax roll by 5.4% by adopting the proposed tax rate of $.7463 per $100 value.

11.  Requests and Presentations

A.  Consider approving the Meet and Confer Agreement between the City of Brownwood and the Brownwood Municipal Police Associations (BMPA) for a one (1) year term – October 1, 2016 – September 30, 2017.

B.  Consider approving the Meet and Confer Agreement between the City of Brownwood and the Brownwood Professional Firefighters Association (BPFFA) for a one (1) year term – October 1, 2016 – September 30, 2017.

C.  Council may cast a vote for the TML MultiState Intergovernmental Employee Benefits Pool Member of Region 6.

D.  Consider authorizing repairs to an air conditioning unit at the Coliseum and authorize the funds to come from reserves with a budget amendment at the end of the fiscal year.

12.  Agreements and Contracts

A.  Consider authorizing the Mayor to sign the Senior Nutrition Program Contractor Funding Contract for 2016/2017 Congregate Meals and Home Delivery Meals with West Central Texas Area Agency on Aging.

13.  Ordinances and Resolutions

A.  Consider a Resolution declaring bricks as surplus property and donating them to Revitalize Our Community (ROC) for a community enhancement project.
