The City Council of the City of Brownwood, Texas, reserves the right to meet in closed, executive session on any of the items listed below should the need arise and if authorized by Title 5, Chapter 551, of the Texas Government Code.

The City Council may deliberate and/or act on the following items:

A. Volunteer recognition by the Brownwood Fire Department.

6. Citizen Presentations

Any citizen who desires to address the City Council on a matter not included on the agenda may do so at this time. The City Council may not deliberate on items presented under this agenda item. To comply with the provisions of the Open Meetings Act, the Council respectfully requests that prior to addressing Council that each person submit a citizen presentation form that is located at the entryway to the Council Chambers, stating your name, address, and topic of presentation. All presentations are subject to a five (5) minute time limit.

A. Presentation by the FFA Agriculture Issues Forum Team.

B. Consider an off premise sign request from Brownwood Dermatology at 2504 Crockett Drive.

C. Consider ratification of BEDC action to lease fifteen acres of property to TG Mercer for a pipe yard.

10. Ordinances and Resolutions

A. Consider an Ordinance on first reading adding a stop sign at the railroad spur on Memorial Park Drive.

B. Consider an Ordinance on first reading approving the FY 2014/2015 budget amendments.

C. Consider amending the Ordinance on first reading changing the limits of no parking on the west side of Calvert Road to Longhorn Lane; and consider an Ordinance on second and third/ final readings prohibiting parking along the following sections of Calvert Road: along the east side of Calvert Road from Horseshoe Trail, north 75′; along the west side of Calvert Road beginning 75′ north of Horseshoe Trail to Longhorn Lane; and along the east side of Calvert Road from Sundown to Milam Drive.

11. Bids

A. Consider awarding a bid for sidewalks and flatwork at the Soccer Complex.

12. Reports

A. Budgetary Control Report for end of year.

B. Sgt. Mitch Slaymaker’s farewell reception.
