The City Council of the City of Brownwood, Texas, reserves the right to meet in closed, executive session on any of the items listed below should the need arise and if authorized by Title 5, Chapter 551, of the Texas Government Code.
The City Council may deliberate and/or act on the following items:

A. The Oath of Office and Law Enforcement Oath of Honor will be given to newly hired Police Officers Doug Hurt, and Bryan Greenrock, by the City Secretary and Police Chief.
6. Citizen Presentations Any citizen who desires to address the City Council on a matter not included on the agenda may do so at this time. The City Council may not deliberate on items presented under this agenda item. To comply with the provisions of the Open Meetings Act, the Council respectfully requests that prior to addressing Council that each person submit a citizen presentation form that is located at the entryway to the Council Chambers, stating your name, address, and topic of presentation. All presentations are subject to a five (5) minute time limit.

9. Public Hearing Conduct a public hearing on each of the following proposed ordinances and consider each ordinance on first reading.
A. An Ordinance on first reading nominating Brownwood Hospital L.P. as a Texas Enterprise Zone Project.
B. An Ordinance on first reading changing the zoning classification of 1.156 acres of Robert Malone, Survey 48, Abstract 656, known as 1601 Wood Street and 2.5 acres of Robert Malone, Survey 48, Abstract 656, known as 1603 Wood Street, from R-l and R-l A Single Family Residential District, to RR Residential Rural District.
C. An Ordinance on first reading changing the zoning classification of Robert Malone, Survey 48, Abstract 656, known as 1613 Wood Street from R-l Single Family Residential District to RR Residential Rural District.
D. An Ordinance on first reading changing the zoning classification of 2.91 acres, Kerr County Land Survey 278, Abstract 576, Block 18, known as 3500 Rhodes Road, and I-acre of Kerr County School Land Survey 278, Abstract 576, Block 18, known as 2200 Calvert Road from R-l Single Family Residential District to A-I Agricultural District.
E. An Ordinance on first reading changing the zoning classification of 3.872 acres of the Kerr County School Land Survey 278, Abstract 576, Block 18, known as 3504 Longhorn Lane from R-l Single Family Residential District to RR Residential Rural District.
10. Requests and Presentations
A. Consider authorizing an expenditure not to exceed $7,000 to replace the AIC Unit that services the lobby at the Bennie Houston Recreation Center to be funded from reserves with a yearend budget amendment.
11. Ordinances and Resolutions
A. Consider a resolution authorizing the Mayor to execute an agreement with Brown County Appraisal District for the assessment and collection of taxes.
12. Agreements and Contracts
A. Consider authorizing the Mayor to execute a Professional Services Agreement with Enprotec I Hibbs & Todd for Phase I of landfill cells 12 and 13.
