The City Council of the City of Brownwood, Texas, reserves the right to meet in closed, executive session on any of the items listed below should the need arise and if authorized by Title 5, Chapter 551, of the Texas Government Code.

A. A Statement of Elected Officers and the Oath of Office will be given to the unopposed candidates in the May 10. 2014 Election by the City Secretary.

7. Citizen Presentations Any citizen who desires to address the City Council on a matter not included on the agenda may do so at this time. The City Council may not deliberate on items presented under this agenda item. To comply with the provisions of the Open Meetings Act, the Council respectfully requests that prior to addressing Council that each person submit a citizen presentation form that is located at the entryway to the Council Chambers, stating your name, address. and topic of presentation. All presentations are subject to a five (5) minute time limit.

A. Consider authorizing funds for demolition of sub-standard structures in the amount of $46,500.
B. Consider authorizing the Mayor’s signature to abandon two 15-ft. wide utility easements across a 7.491 acre tract of land on Custer Road owned by Brownwood Industrial Foundation. Inc.
11. Ordinances and Resolutions
A. Consider a Resolution denying Atmos Energy Corp., Mid-Tex Division’s requested rate increase.
12. Agreements and Contracts
A. Consider authorizing the Mayor’s signature on a Memorandum of Agreement and a Second Amendment to Tower and Building Space Lease Agreement for the placement of telecommunications equipment at property located at 307 South Washington aka known as the “old Continental Grain Property.”
13. Appointments
A. Council may elect a Mayor Pro-tern.
B. Consider the appointment of a Fleet Services Director.
