The City Council of the City of Brownwood, Texas, reserves the right to meet in closed, executive session on any of the items listed below should the need arise and if authorized by Title 5, Chapter 551, of the Texas Government Code.
The City Council may deliberate and/or act on the following items:

6. Citizen Presentations Any citizen who desires to address the City Council on a matter not included on the agenda may do so at this time. The City Council may not deliberate on items presented under this agenda item. To comply with the provisions of the Open Meetings Act, the Council respectfully requests that prior to addressing Council that each person submit a citizen presentation form that is located at the entryway to the Council Chambers, stating your name, address, and topic of presentation. All presentations are subject to a five (5) minute time limit.

A. Consider an extension of a contract between the City of Brownwood and James Blair Hays, M.D. to serve as the City’s Public Health Authority.
B. Consider approving an engagement letter with Krischke CPA, PC to perform the annual independent audit for the next three years.
10. Consent Agenda
A. Consider an Ordinance on second and third / final readings changing the zoning classification of approximately 20.7 acres being Outlots 372 and 373, of the William H. Irions Survey Number 52, Abstract 537, located at the southwest comer of Davis Lane and Market Place Boulevard, from R1 Single Family Residential District to C 1 Local Business District.
B. Consider a Resolution authorizing the Mayor to sign contracts and amendments with Texas Department of Aging and Disability Services (DADS) for the Senior Citizens Program.
11. Ordinances and Resolutions
A. Consider an Ordinance on first reading establishing a stop sign for northbound traffic on Market Place Boulevard at Market Place Extension and stop sign for eastbound traffic on Market Place Extension at Riverside Park Drive and establish a traffic signal controlled intersection at East Commerce Street I Riverside Park Drive and Opal Drive.
