The City Council of the City of Brownwood, Texas, reserves the right to meet in closed, executive session on any of the items listed below should the need arise and if authorized by Title 5, Chapter 551, of the Texas Government Code.
The City Council may deliberate and/or act on the following items:

6. Citizen Presentations
Any citizen who desires to address the City Council on a matter not included on the agenda may do so at this time. The City Council may not deliberate on items presented under this agenda item. To comply with the provisions of the Open Meetings Act, the Council respectfully requests that prior to addressing Council that each person submit a citizen presentation form that is located at the entryway to the Council Chambers, stating your name, address, and topic of presentation. All presentations are subject to a five (5) minute time limit.

A. Council may discuss the Hazard Mitigation Plan.

A. Consider accepting a bid for a 218 acre agriculture lease at 202 FM 45 West, also known as the Bartholomew Property.

A. Consider approval of the three-month agreement with Wayne Clark to trap and remove hogs from the Pecan Station property.
B. Consider approval of a revised Economic Development Incentive Agreement between The Brownwood Economic Development Corporation and Leeco Energy & Investments, Inc.

A. Consider ratification of a Mayoral appointment to the Building and Standards Commission.

14. Election
A. Consider an ordinance on first/final reading ordering a Special Election in the City of Brownwood, Texas, to be held on May 7, 2016, for the purpose of submitting to the qualified voters , for adoption or rejection of a proposed proposition to terminate the Brownwood Economic Development Corporation (Type A) and the abolition of its sales and use tax for the promotion and development of new and expanded business enterprises at the rate of one-half of one percent, and concurrently, authorize the creation of the City of Brownwood Municipal Development District with the imposition of a sales and use tax within the incorporated City limits at the rate of one-half of one percent for the purpose of financing development projects beneficial to the district.
Considerar una ordenanza en la final de primera lectura ordenar una elecciòn especial en la ciudad de Brownwood, Texas, a realizarse el 07 de mayo de 2016, para el proposito de la presentacion a los votantes calificados, de aprobaciòn o rechazo de una propuesta de proyecto para terminar la Brownwood Economic Development Corporation (tipo A) y la aboliciòn de las ventas y uso de impuestos para la promociòn y desarrollo de empresas nuevas y ampliadas en la tasa de la mitad del uno por ciento y al mismo tiempo, autorizar la creaciòn de la ciudad de Brownwood Distrito de Desarrollo Municipal con la imposiciòn de un impuesto de venta y uso dentro de los limites incorporados de la ciudad al ritmo de la mitad del uno por ciento con el proposito de financiar proyectos de desarrollo beneficioso para el distrito.

The City Council may convene into a closed executive session in the Haynes Conference Room, pursuant to the provisions of the Open meetings Law, Chapter 551, Government Code Vernon’s Annotated, in accordance with the authority contained in the following section:

- Conduct City Manager’s six month evaluation.
