The City Council of the City of Brownwood, Texas, reserves the right to meet in closed, executive session on any of the items listed below should the need arise and if authorized by Title 5, Chapter 551, ofthe Texas Government Code.
The City Council may deliberate and/or act on the following items:

The Oath of Office and Law Enforcement Oath of Honor will be given to new highly Police Officer Jeremy Seider by the City Secretary and Assistant Police Chief.
6. Citizen Presentations
Any citizen who desires to address the City Council on a matter not included on the agenda may do so at this time. The City Council may not deliberate on items presented under this agenda item. To comply with the provisions of the Open Meetings Act, the Council respectfully requests that prior to addressing Council that each person submit a citizen presentation form that is located at the entryway to the Council Chambers, stating your name, address, and topic of presentation. All presentations are subject to a five (5) minute time limit.

9. Public Hearing
Conduct a public hearing on a petition from CP Homes, to extend the City Limits of the City of Brownwood, Texas, to include a parcel of land being approximately 5 acres situated in Brown County, Texas, being out of the Taylor Smith Survey 600, Abstract 821, Located on the West side of Highway 377 at the intersection of FM 3064.
Following the public hearing, Council may grant or deny the petition.
If the petition is granted, Council may consider an Ordinance on first reading annexing said land.
10. Requests and Presentations
A. Consider an Order of General Election setting the May 9, 2015 Election date for the following Council positions: Ward 2; Ward 3; and Ward 5.
B. Consider approval of a Parks Master Plan Survey form and authorize the survey to be conducted.
11. Ordinances and Resolutions
A. Consider an Ordinance on first reading freezing the total amount of ad valorem taxes imposed on the homesteads of persons with disabilities and/or persons sixty-five years of age or older.
B. Consider a Resolution in support of the Texas Recreation & Parks Account (TRP A) and the Texas State Park System.
12. Consent Agenda
A. Consider an Ordinance on second and third I final readings to close two sections of Rogan Street between Blocks 32 and 33 of the Cleveland Addition at Avenue D and continuing Northwesterly approximately 160′ to the Southeast side of an alley and Blocks 36 and 37 at the Northwest side of an alley being approximately 180′ Northwest of Avenue D then continuing in a Northwesterly direction approximately 161′ to the end of Rogan Street.
B. Consider an Ordinance on second and third I final readings to close Sixth Street beginning at Magnolia Street and continuing Southeast for a distance of 400′, and an alley located in Block 20 of the Morningside Addition beginning at Magnolia Street and continuing Southeast for a distance of 400′.
