The City Council of the City of Brownwood, Texas, reserves the right to meet in closed, executive session on any of the items listed below should the need arise and if authorized by Title 5, Chapter 551, of the Texas Government Code.

7. Citizen Presentations Any citizen who desires to address the City Council on a matter not included on the agenda may do so at this time. The City Council may not deliberate on items presented under this agenda item. To comply with the provisions of the Open Meetings Act, the Council respectfully requests that prior to addressing Council that each person submit a citizen presentation form that is located at the entryway to the Council Chambers, stating your name, address, and topic of presentation. All presentations are subject to a five (5) minute time limit.

A. Consider approving the Parks and Recreation Advisory Board’s recommendation to name Teenage Baseball Field #3 at the Bert Massey, II Sports Complex after Walt Williams.
B. Consider approving the Parks and Recreation Advisory Board’s recommendation to name Little League Baseball Field #1 at the Bert Massey, II Sports Complex after Jerry Don Gleaton and a Resolution of Recognition for Jerry Don Gleaton’s induction to the Big Country Athletic Hall of Fame.
11. Ordinances and Resolutions
A. Consider an Ordinance on second and third / final readings changing the zoning classification of 6.279 acres of the William H Irions, Survey 52, Abstract 537, known as 1000 High Mesa Drive from R-3 Multi Family Residential District and C-l Local Business District, to A-I Agricultural District.
B. Consider a Resolution abandoning a section of an existing waterline easement with Kohler in exchange for Kohler granting a 20′ wide easement for a new water line and authorizing the Mayor to execute the required documents.
C. Consider a Resolution to accept an offer from TxDOT for the purchase of a strip of land fronting on Austin Avenue (FM 2524) needed for the widening the highway and authorize the Mayor to execute the required documents.

A. Consider approval of a water contract with Brown County Water Improvement District for irrigation water to the Pecan Field Station for 2013.
