The City Council of the City of Brownwood, Texas, reserves the right to meet in closed, executive session on any of the items listed below should the need arise and if authorized by Title 5, Chapter 551, of the Texas Government Code.

The City Council may deliberate and/or act on the following items:

7. Citizen Presentations
Any citizen who desires to address the City Council on a matter not included on the agenda may do so at this time. The City Council may not deliberate on items presented under this agenda item. To comply with the provisions of the Open Meetings Act, the Council respectfully requests that prior to addressing Council that each person submit a citizen presentation form that is located at the entryway to the Council Chambers, stating your name, address, and topic of presentation. All presentations are subject to a five (5) minute time limit.

10. Ordinances and Resolutions

A.  Consider an Ordinance on first reading prohibiting parking on the west side of Fisk Street from Chamdler Street north for 60 feet.

B.  Consider an Ordinance on second and third/final readings amending the rules and regulations of Brownwood Regional Airport to eliminate the requirement to obtain a permit from the Airport Board for commercial activity, to establish a registration requirement for persons performing commercial activity and to eliminate the requirement to obtain commercial insurance to perform commercial activity at the Airport.

11. Bids

A.  Consider awarding a bid to purchase a 1998 diesel jet refueler from Bassco Services in the amount of $64,500 for the Airport.

12. Agreements and Contracts

A.  Consider an agreement with Retail Strategies for retail consulting and related services and share the cost with the Brownwood Area Chamber of Commerce and the Brownwood Economic Development Corporation.

B.  Consider authorizing the City Manager to sign a 5-year lease agreement with Sharco for a phone system at the Brownwood Police Department at the Law Enforcement Center.

13.  Requests and Presentations

A.  Consider participating with Brown County, the City of Early, and the City of Bangs in employing an EMS consultant in an amount not to exceed $9,200.

15.  Executive Session
The City Council may convene into a closed executive session in the Haynes Conference Room, pursuant to the provisions of the Open Meetings Law, Chapter 551, Government Code Vernon’s Annotated, in accordance with the authority contained in the following section:
