The Brownwood Area Chamber of Commerce’s second annual Total Resource Campaign (TRC) wrapped up on Tuesday with a victory party where volunteers and teams were recognized for their accomplishments.
The TRC, under the leadership of campaign chair Putter Jarvis, set a new record with more than $93,000 in sponsorships being sold by volunteers during the seven week campaign. Volunteers, working in teams, have been helping businesses participate in the Chamber’s TRC which helps them get added exposure for their business through sponsorship opportunities in Chamber events and activities.
The top volunteer this year was Priscilla Monson with West Central Texas Valuation Services who sold more than $20,000 in sponsorships. Edda Ratliff was the second place winner closely followed by Robert Porter of Porter Insurance. All three of the top producers earned a trip for two to New Orleans. Also earning a trip were Ray Garza of TexasBank and Becca Miles of Porter Insurance.
“We would like to thank all of our volunteers, the Chamber staff, and all of the members of the Brownwood Chamber of Commerce for making this campaign a big success,” said Chamber Board Chairman Dr. Don Bostic. “With support through the TRC, the Chamber can better serve its members and the community.”
