The Brownwood Art Association will host their monthly “First Thursday” event on February 7th from 5 PM – 8 PM. The public is invited to join the event and experience an array of fantastic art while enjoying wine and cheese. February’s event features the Salon des Refuses; art that was not accepted in the Stars of Texas Juried Art Exhibit.
Make no mistake, the “First Thursday” exhibit is full of first class art that was certainly deserving of a spot in Stars but there was limited room at the Depot.
The event is a wonderful opportunity to relax while taking in the art and visiting with artists, family, friends and neighbors.The “First Thursday” art exhibits began in July 2012 for the benefit of our community and local artists.
