The Brownwood Art Association Photo Group is pleased to announce it will once again be participating in the Scott Kelby National Association of Photoshop Professionals Worldwide Photo Walk on October 5, 2013.
The location for the local shoot will be the Brown County Museum of History, also known as the “Old Jail.” The photo shoot will start at 9:30 a.m. During this shoot, the Photo Group will also be taking photos for two additional shows (Brown County Museum of History & The Turtle Restaurant) that the Photo Group will be hosting during October and November of this year.The Photo Walk is open to anyone who has an interest in photography and would like to participate. The event is free to participate; entrants need only bring their camera. Sign up for the Photo Walk can be made at www.worldwidephotowalk.com. Just type in Brownwood, TX in the search bar and it will bring up the sign up information.
Last year the Worldwide Photo Walk had nearly 30,000 photographers from nearly 1300 cities/locations across the world. The local Photo Group had ten participants last year and used the Brownwood Municipal Airport for their photographic backdrop. The photo shoot at the airport produced some great photos and at the same time it allowed the Photo Group to share images of Brownwood with the World.
