The Brownwood Art Association’s Photo Group announced that it will hold its 1st meeting of 2014 on January 2nd at the Art Center, 215 Fisk Avenue, Brownwood, TX. The meeting will start at 6:30 PM.
The photo theme for this meeting is silhouettes. Participants are encouraged to bring your favorite silhouette to be critiqued by the group. It can be in either digital or print form. Those without a silhouette can bring any photograph they would like to show to the group.
The group will also be discussing the Photo Caravan – Eagle Shoot that is being planned to take pictures of the newly born eagles down by Llano. Exact time and date of this caravan will be determined and announced.
They will also have a short discussion about the upcoming 16th Annual Stars of Texas Juried Art Exhibit and Photo Shoot Out that will run from February 1 through the 15th at the Depot Civic and Cultural Center located at 600 Depot, Brownwood, Texas. Entries for the show will be accepted on January 25 & 26, 2014.
The mentoring program also continues, and anyone interested in photography and would like a mentor to help can attend this meeting and get set up with a mentor for 2014. This program is open to anyone with an interest in photography. The program is free to the public.
