Brownwood News – The Brownwood Area Community Garden will host a Fall Fundraiser Dinner on November 4th, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Salvation Army, located at 403 Lakeway Drive.
Organizers invite the public to enjoy a dinner of beef, potatoes, green beans, and dessert. Tickets are $10, and are available at the Brownwood Chamber of Commerce, or at the door. Dine in or get it to-go.
Those attending the dinner are also invited to an after-party at the Garden, which is adjacent to the Salvation Army. The after-party will include Garden Tours and a fire circle as the day fades into twilight.
“This may be your last chance to see the fall flowers before the first frost,” according to Garden Coordinator Daniel Graham, “so we want to encourage folks to walk over to the Garden after dinner and see what’s growing.”
The Garden is at 1514 Dublin St. inside the Brownwood Housing Authority Park Homes. Parking is behind the CTO Building. For more information, call 325-641-9029.
