Press Release – The Brownwood Area Community Garden invites the public to a Fish Fry to benefit the Garden on Friday, April 7, from 5-7 pm at the Salvation Army, 403 Lakeway. Tickets are $10, and available at the Brownwood Chamber of Commerce, or at the door. Dine in or get it to-go.
Those attending the dinner are also invited to an after-party at the Garden, which is adjacent to the Salvation Army. The after-party will include Garden Tours and a fire circle as the day fades into twilight.
“Our shade arbor is in full bloom right now,” according to Garden Coordinator Daniel Graham, “and we still have raised beds available to lease, so we want to encourage folks to walk over to the Garden after dinner and see what’s growing.”
The Garden is at 1514 Dublin St. inside the Brownwood Housing Authority Park Homes. Parking is behind the CTO Building. For more information, call 325-641-9029.
