Two Texas Teenage Baseball state tournaments will be held in Brown County this week with games beginning on Monday and running through the end of the week.
The 10 team boys 14U state tournament will be held in Brownwood at the Bert V. Massey Sports Complex with two local teams participating. The Brownwood Flying Squirrels and Brownwood Yankees will be participating along with the Academy Dawgs, Anna Coyotes, BMC Rangers, Bullard Reds, Cameron Red Sox, Edgewood Titans, Killeen Orioles, and Riesel.
The Brownwood Flying Squirrels will kick off the tournament with a 9:30am game Monday against Riesel. CLICK HERE for the tournament bracket.
Early City Park will host the boys 8U player pitch state baseball tournament starting Monday. Participating teams include the Early Cardinals, Early Diamondbacks, Bosqueville Heat, Bosqueville Ghost Runners, Cameron Astros, Cameron Diamondbacks, Copperas Cove Pirates, Copperas Cove White Sox, and Eastland Lions.
